LEXINGTON — Kentucky offensive lineman Darian Kinnard's slide in the NFL draft ended in the fifth round Saturday.
The Kansas City Chiefs selected Kinnard with the second pick of the fifth round (No. 145 overall) in the 2022 NFL draft.
Kinnard was the fourth Kentucky player picked in the draft. He followed second-round picks Wan'Dale Robinson (Giants) and Josh Paschal (Lions) and third-rounder Luke Fortner (Jaguars). The selection of Fortner and Kinnard marked the first time since 1993 that Kentucky produced multiple offensive line draft picks in the same year.
